October 1, 2009—Effective October 1, 2009, the California Code of Regulations in the Landscape Practice Act has been updated.

September 28, 2009—Beginning with the December 2009 examination, Sections C and E of the Landscape Architects Registration Examination will now be administered through the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards.

September 17, 2009—The California Architects Board has approved the Landscape Architects Technical Committee July 1, 2009–June 30, 2010 Strategic Plan.

September 10, 2009—Effective September 10, 2009, the Model Water Efficient Landscape Ordinance has been updated. All California local water agencies are required, no later than January 1, 2009, to adopt the updated Model Water Efficient Landscape Ordinance or equivalent.
